  1. Salam Sejahtera Mr Anak Berudu!!!

    What a joke if Malaysian Police Force using this car. Even the 206 had performed once a decades ago, I was really hillarious and those burglars will be even more happy!!! The crime rate in Malaysia should totally increased!!! I am really serious when writing this article!!! I do believe, even I had CCed this article to 2 Harian Metro blokes, it gonna be "BERITA HAIRAN", and never being copy writed, printed in the newspaper. Therefore I hope to all of those individu out there, who had read this article, to fight bringing this matter furthur, thank you.

    I was really frustrated when my stolen just standard 1.6L Campro PROTON Waja R3 couldn't being chased by those Policemen when those burglars had used it to rob a security van. I guess, the Royal Malaysian Police Force should importing the 6.3L LS3 317KW HSV Holden Commodore or just driving the PROTON waja, but equipt them with the new 2.0 Campro, then they can stop those sophisticated and smart bad guys!!! Those blokes should be really worry if our police forces using more hightech local development, rather than making this slapstic joke, using the nanny old 206. When considering the purchase and maintenance cost, we can smell theres so many bull-shits in there. Our handsome Tan Sri Musa Hassan, who just being operated for his heart by-pass, should have a seat with Tengku Djan and Dato' Syed Zainal when he recovers. And unluckyly here, I'm really serious and not making jokes!!!

    We should be proud when 10 years ago, in OZ, the sales of 206 gti had been out classed by our PROTON Satria GTi. even in here, The Gen-2 and Satria Neo currently being sell at higher price than the Toyota Corolla, Mazda 2, and the benchmark Ford Focus!!! Therefore I would like to suggest what about our Police Force using the OZ spec turbocharged Satria Neo R3? That would be logical!!! By doing that, the PROTON intergrity will be stronger and their sales will be increased!!! What are the rationals using the 10 years ago technology if we had spent millions of ringgit and years of development in Automotive? What a waste!!!

    Not just in OZ, PROTON also really a huge name in China and Taiwan. Those blokes who drive a PROTON there, always bringing chicks home at night. And even more, the OZ Blokes, they are really waiting for the seqquence of the once hot and famous Satria GTi, which had scared Holden and Ford. Worsen than that, they even had called it a 'CULT'. It was very famous here and the manual Gen-2s and Satria Neos being under severe modifications and make-ups! If OZ blokes really proud of our "luckster national cars", we should change those pathetic malaysian perceptions. Belows are few quotes that shows why we have to really proud with PROTON;

    Proton, which has presence throughout ASEAN as well as in China, Iran, Pakistan, UK and Australia, is keen to be a part of the Indian market, the world's second fastest growing passenger car market.

    "Significant growth has been registered from our overseas operations and our main focus is on developing markets like China and especially India, where 75 percent of the total cars sold are hatchbacks and compacts," he added.

    "India offers huge potential for a company like Proton," he said.

    "In terms of volume, we have set a target of doubling total sales volume to 300,000 units by 2010 and India will be a major part of that growth.

    "We are excited about our direction and plans, now that we have laid the foundation for future growth which is already beginning to show results and we're already delivering on this promise with better product variety, product quality, export performance, revenue diversification and efficiency," he added.

    The company has already flagged its program to include more performance oriented engines as well as diesel powerplants in its forthcoming cars - Dato' Syed Zainal

    Proton's stylish Satria Neo will lead the field in a range of racing categories this year as the Official Safety Car for the growing Australian Motor Racing Series (AMRS).

    Proton Cars has signed on as the official safety car supplier for the AMRS providing the Satria Neo for the season in a move that will highlight the new three door's safety credentials, including its Lotus handling, standard ABS anti lock brakes and twin SRS airbags. - Autodeadline.com.au

    Proton Satria GTi driver David Russell has posted another giant killing performance in round five of the Australian Production Car Championship at Sydney's Eastern Creek taking top points for the round.

    Russell took his 1.8 litre Proton hot hatch to a close fought second place in race one and an outright win in race two to score the highest outright points.

    It is the third consecutive round in which Russell has won outright, beating many more expensive and highly powered cars in the process including V8 Holdens, XR6 Turbo Falcons, turbo Subarus, Corolla Sportivos and Honda Integra Type Rs.

    The performance has seen Russell jump to fourth place in the outright championship standings just one point off third place with two rounds remaining in the series.

    The giant killing performance was posted in treacherous conditions with rain and heavy winds lashing the circuit during a mid winter cold snap which settled across the Australian East Coast.

    "Eastern Creek is both a power and handling circuit so the combination of the Satria's superb handling and the free revving twin cam 16 valve engine proved the perfect package again," said David Russell.

    "The Satria was superb in the testing conditions again and we were able to out handle the opposition and hold them at bay in both races, it was tremendous," said David.

    "It underlines just how good the Satria is in difficult conditions and what a great package it is as a hot hatch," he added.

    The result gives Russell 171 points in the overall drivers standings as well as the outright lead in Class D.

    Proton has now moved to second in the Manufacturers points standings

    The Australian Production Car Championship heads to round six of the series at the tight and demanding Wakefield Park circuit 200 kms south of Sydney on August 8th.

    The Proton Satria GTi is powered by a twin cam 16 valve 1.8 litre engine producing 100kWs of power mated to a five speed manual transmission and featuring Lotus tuned suspension. - - Autodeadline.com.au

    If pathetic Malaysian drivers always being sarcastic on our national cars, our Police Force should proud of them. Few modifications are enough to boost those current 1.6 campros to slash those "LAW-BREAKER"! Adjustable cam pulley or just convert all police car to R3s.

    The rationals are;

    1. We ourselves will help our own automotive industry, rather than exporting out the government money to France.
    2. The "GOOD WILL" and the integrity of PROTON will increased.
    3. Race Rally Research Department can still further doing their RnD in producing Malaysian Performance Cars, like those R3s out there, Satria, Waja, Gen-2, Savvy, Neo and the new Persona.
    4. The Up-coming MME race should be won by PROTON Cars, not by The Porchere GT3. Live R3!!! Your cars really owesome!!!, Even those Ausie Blokes was really supprised when being "goreng" by me when i shown them my articles and Waja R3 pictures before. They are now really hunger and unpatiently waiting for the next year up-coming OZ Spec Turbocharged Neo R3.

    Therefore, our government should wisely spend their money, as I am here laughing like hell with some others OZ blokes when reading the article below. we should help our inside economy, not to satisfy one's satisfaction. Mr Naza will be richer, but what about Abang Tapa, and thousands more PROTON staffs who assemble the proton cars in Shah Alam? Why we are wasting billions for the PROTON Tanjung Malim facilities, if the government themselves not supporting the local industry? What A waste!!!
