Revolutionary conceptual plane X-48B of manufacture of company Boeing has made the first flight! The prototype developed Phantom Works (on the basis of Boeing) with NASA and U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, has stayed in air 31 minute at height of 2286 m. For today it is the unique prototype of the company who has been tested in flight. Actually, has been created it for definition of structural, aerodynamic and operational efficiency of similar BWB-prototypes (Blended Wing Body) which have no tail, wings smoothly pass in a fuselage. Such design promises decrease in consumption of fuel on 30 %, and also decrease in noise level. In the meantime, three turbojet engines allow X-48B to accelerate momentum up to 220 km/h and to rise on height of 3 km though, it is necessary to think, it not a limit.
